I did this piece when I was in a rough patch of life. It is modeled mainly after one thing going through my mind: Love.

The eye is modeled after someone i know, and so is the quote. She was afraid of getting too close, and she would cry sometimes. True fear is mesured in tears.

The arm is modeled after mine, and the quote is based on a fight scene i did modeled to look like a fight to the death, an act of pure hatred of the world, and i bled for the fight. Oh boy did I bleed.

Th stitches, well, after the same fight, when i shouldv'e had stiches: but i didn't. there was no pain, and that hurt the most.

Finally the heart. it's mofeled after the black heart i gave myself in the worst time of my life to protect me. as i drew it, i realized all of the above was done for love, love of her, love of the faire and performing, love of invincibility. So, there you guys have it.
